Resolved Question: How do i meet people at a new school, before school starts?

Im moving from Hugo High School in Hugo, Oklahoma to Centennial High School in Frisco, Texas...how do i make new friends before school starts on August 22nd? It'll be my junior year and im already living here in Plano, Texas but haven't really met anyone yet.....any ideas? Should I use the internet or what? My old school had around 500 students to where my new one will probably have 4000 students, so the old school didn't teach me many social skills for this type of setting..., so any ideas of how to make friends before school starts?????...
